A private place for what’s on your heart.
Zayta stores your prayer book online so you can use the same account on your devices. Other users cannot see your people, contact details, requests, or answered-prayer notes.
What we store
Your account information, authentication records, and the people and prayer requests you choose to enter. The mobile app also keeps a copy on your device for offline use.
How we use your email
For verification, signing in, password recovery, and essential account or security messages. We do not send marketing email or sell your personal information.
Keeping your book private
Connections to the hosted service and managed database storage are encrypted. Zayta does not use end-to-end encryption; the service can process your content. Prayer text and contact details are not included in application analytics.
Deletion and retention
You can delete requests and people in your prayer book. Deletion removes the content from the active service, with a minimal deletion marker to prevent an older device from bringing it back. Answered and archived prayers remain until you delete them. Account deletion removes your account and its associated prayer book.
Zayta’s website and API run on Vercel in US East. The PostgreSQL database is hosted by Neon in AWS US East (Northern Virginia). Resend handles account email, with email tracking disabled, and Cloudflare manages the domain’s DNS.
Recovery and backups
The current Neon Free configuration retains six hours of recovery history. Scheduled snapshots and independent database backups are not configured. Recovery is limited, and we cannot promise to restore a lost prayer book. You can export a copy from your prayer book’s settings. Deleted data can remain in the recovery history until it expires.
